Meta Data Deletion Instructions
BookingAPI allows users to request deletion of personal information obtained through Meta integrations, including WhatsApp Business and Facebook Login for Business integrations where applicable.
How to request deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Include the email address, business name, or account identifier associated with your BookingAPI account. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.
Automated Meta requests
BookingAPI also maintains a Meta data deletion callback at https://wa.bookingapi.ca/webhooks/data-deletion. The callback URL is used for automated Meta platform deletion requests (verified via Meta's signed request). This public page is for user-facing deletion instructions. If Meta sends BookingAPI a valid data deletion request through our callback endpoint, we process the request and provide a deletion status link.
Timing and backups
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, dispute, contractual, and technical limitations. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups until those backups are rotated and overwritten.
